ABOUT THIS 4 SESSION SERIES:
The result of trauma and chronic anxiety can show up in our bodies through restricted and protective muscle patterns. This often happens in our shoulders and heart space as we curl inward as a means of providing safety, making ourselves smaller, or possibly due to feeling defeated and hopeless.
With mindful movement and calming breath work, we’ll explore our shoulders and the areas that surround them such as the jaw, neck, chest, and upper back.

    I just couldn't believe I really let go and I feel a lot lighter. From my hips to my head. I did cry. I came here hoping that I'd cry to release this time since I've been doing the pigeon pose daily for 20 minutes due to tightness in my hips. Thank you for providing the space for that and I loved how you lead us to get out of the pose so it's not as painful

    I have been going to therapy for a year now due to some childhood trauma, without even realizing it I've have been spending my entire 30 years of living feeling and thinking that i am bad, and unworthy of love. for the first time- when you said the words "you are not bad, you are not broken" i actually believed it. i believed and felt ,that there is nothing wrong with me. that i am not bad. that i am worthy of love. at the end of the practice i started crying repeating those words to myself. you have no idea how relieving that was for me, and how healing that was for me. i needed to hear those words for so long. so thank you Hanna, thank you so much for allowing me to experience this amazing gift.

    I somehow found you with RUclips algorithms before, and saved them in my playlist for anxiety. I did them (ones for trauma stored in your hips) and saved them for the next time one of the trauma landmines gets setoff. Well, we've reached the next one. I've been laid up for a week barely able to move most of the day. After i put the pieces together to see what happened to me present day is being released from something prior, i was asking my sibling who does some stretches that are really good - because at this point I'll rub grape jelly on my feet if it makes the physical pain go away - and i had mentioned i made the trauma response lessen in my hips by watching your vids before. Then my very in pain brain found the videos again, and then I'm so thankful you have a playlist for the shoulders. I've had massage therapists tell me repeatedly that the knots under my shoulder blades are so intense they'd need to work on me for like 6 months every week. 😂 I'm able to move again a little bit, but taking a break for now from the remainder of this one. The 18 mins from this one is enough for my poor neck rn, but I'll be repeating these every day for a little while. Thank you. 🖤 It's like magic.
